The cruise terminal consists of three 1,000-foot piers (88, 90, and 92), located on the Hudson River between West 48th and West 52nd streets with the vehicle entrance at West 55th Street. First built in the mid-1930s to handle the then largest liners of the day, including the Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and Normandie this New York cruise terminal was modernized in the early 1970s and are presently undergoing a major rebuilding, pier by pier. Opened on April 15, 2006, this New York cruise terminal was built within an existing cargo shed at Pier 12, Atlantic Basin, on the Red Hook waterfront opposite Governors Island.  It is located about 1.5 miles south of the Brooklyn Bridge or just over a mile, as the crow flies, from Battery Park at the tip of Lower Manhattan. :: Read More

Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal (N.J)
Opened in May 2004 in the former Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal, Cape Liberty first handled Royal Caribbean ships and a year later Celebrity ships. It’s proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike (3 miles) and to Newark Liberty International Airport (7 miles) is a major draw. Manhattan via the Holland Tunnel is eight miles.
